Sheringham & District Branch, The Royal British Legion - Duxford Trip September 2012
In September the Branch visited IWM Duxford for a Branch outing. We were blessed with terrific weather and luck that on the day there was also a vintage bus display.
We took picnic lunches with us as we had found out that prices in the eateries on site were very expensive. The exhibits at Duxford are extremely well thought out and accessible for all to enjoy, including those who rely on wheelchairs for transportation.
There was so much to see and do, that it is impossible for me to tell all. Suffice it to say, we had a thoroughly good day out. On the way home we stopped off for a quick meal in The Swan at Hilborough and our thanks go to the staff for the wonderful meal they produced, without us having booked in advance.
A picture paints a thousand words, so please find below just some of the photos I took on the day.
